The holiday home had a lovely garden, a cozy fireplace, and a convenient washing machine. Plus, it was only 19 km away from York City Walls, so I could pretend to be a medieval queen. Towels were also provided, so I didn't have to bring my own from home.
Who needs a bar and free parking when you can have a sarcastic staff member and no hair dryer?

The hot tub was the highlight of our trip, providing a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. The location was also perfect, allowing us easy access to explore the beautiful Yorkshire countryside.
There were a few minor issues during our stay. The lighting in the lodge was a bit strange, with only ceiling pendants providing bright cool light, giving it a clinical feel at night.
